Your wedding is a celebration of you and your spouse, so why not make your reception reflect your personal style? That's right – your reception can say a lot about your personal couple style. The trick is to choose the right wedding reception venue and the right decorations. Here're some tips to making sure your reception really captures the essence of you.

First, choose the right size reception hall. If you and your spouse are more into intimate times and small parties, then a smaller hall is definitely the choice for you. If you want to have a grand gala however, then you should definitely choose a reception hall that can accommodate lots of guests.

Next, figure out what kind of style would best suit you and your spouse with regards to how formal the reception is going to be. If you're not really the formal type, then don't force your guests to dress up and be all stuffy! You can even plan your wedding reception invites to include something like “Nice casual dress requested” to let your guests knowing exactly what kind of event they should be expecting.

Finally, plan the activities at the reception. Yeah, there are the traditional first dance, daddy daughter dance, cutting the cake, etc., but do you want to have something a little more fun?  There's nothing wrong with going the classic group, but if you and your spouse aren't the classic couple type, they do something different! Have a bounce house, or even have a place for guests to shoot each other with ping-pong balls. Whatever you want to do, it's completely okay because it's your special day.

Don't be afraid to think outside the box and come up with clever ideas that will really help your reception reflect you and your spouse. Your choice from the different wedding reception venues can say everything you needed to about your new relationship.
